Senari Bun
This authentic recipe is inspired by our main beach, Senari Beach. Baked in small batches, our Plain Bun is a comfortable everyday companion to all choices of patties. this bun offers more than meets the eye — its soft texture delivers with every bite.
SENARI BEACH OR PANTAI SENARI
it is a short golden beach where you will find everything you need to relax and feel rejuvenated. Located on the eastern coast of Rebak Island, this is the best spot on the island to witness sunrise—most rooms face east here.
Teluk Kelubi Bun
To a local, the name ‘buah kelubi’ is enough to make us salivate. This exotic fruit has a yellow orangish color, a soft texture, and a sour taste. For the commemoration of Pantai Teluk Kelubi or North Beach, we handcraft Teluk Kelubi Buns. Reflecting the color of the “kelubi fruit” meat, the buns have been coated in carrot color extract. There’s a bit of sweetness in the bun because of the carrot taste. What’s the perfect pair? We recommend duck or lamb patties!
North Bay or Teluk Kelubi
North Bay is a secluded beach that can be accessed by a short trek from the resort. Since it’s a rarely accessed beach, it’s kept undiscovered. A boat along the coast allows us to see the dense forest of trees, which appears fresh and relaxing. This beach has the deepest C shape coast inward hill of all the beaches on Rebak Island
Beet Rock Bun
The existence of our Red Rock Beach inspired us to test a few red extracts until the beetroot was found to be the best ingredient. Not just aesthetically appealing, this bun is also packed with nutrients, and smooth texture, it looks as great as it tastes!
RED ROCK BEACH OR PANTAI BATU MERAH
In the middle of the rainforest on Rebak Island, Langkawi lies a bed of red rocks on sandy sands on the shores of The Andaman Sea. These beds are reddish mudstone containing ancient fossils as far back as 300 million years ago. Historic evidence of South East Asia’s geological formation over the many centuries of human civilization.
Keriang Bun
‘Keriang’ is the local name for cricket! ‘Telaga’ means well in English and refers to a house or a place where crickets like to hide. Mostly nocturnal, crickets hide beneath rocks and inside logs to avoid predators. Darkness is comforting to crickets, so we invented charcoal buns with authentic local recipes, imagining a similar taste to our comfort food. The black-colored buns get their hue from edible charcoal adding an exciting twist to the bun.
Long Beach or Telaga Keriang
The island lies to the east of Rebak Island, facing Langkawi Island. A 10-minute trek from the resort; a boat ride is another option. Unlike other beaches, this one has the longest shoreline. Langkawi’s first crystal factory was built in 1999 about 300 meters from the shoreline. As it faces Langkawi Island, this beach is actually visible from Cenang.
